Can't Connect the Dots on this One

One of the things I like to do, it's part of my nature, is to connect the dots with a given situation - even if they're not in a straight line. I like figuring things out and taking problems apart and coming up with solutions. I like fixing things - ok, not if it requires a hammer, not my forte. But there are some dots I just can't connect. It has to do with Easter.

Here it is:

What does a bunny rabbit have to do with eggs? I have yet to figure this one out. Wouldn't it be more likely to have a hen with some eggs? Or a duck with some eggs?

Just a thought.

Camp is Good!

I'm home from a week at a student camp - Camp Chaparral . I was there teaching students how God created them for a place of ministry and encouraging them to involved - somehow. . .somewhere. I was also the guest of Pam & Steve Sparks. They are wonderful friends from my Lufkin days. Steve is the Assistant Director of the camp. Better give a shout out to the staff - Hey Mike, David, Heather, Doug, Tim, Nate, Govani (spelling?) - thanks for a great week. Question for You

I was listening to one of the local radio stations - kwyq, The Way FM, this morning on the way to the office. They were asking the question, "If you could live in a totally Christian community would you?" Responses varied. I would be interested in knowing what you think. Favorite Cereals

As I was scarfing down a bowl of Total I was thinking about my favorite cereals. Cereal has always been a part of our family - it didn't matter whether it was grabbing a bowl before school and sitting with my Grandpa as he at a bowl of Raisin Bran after church on Sunday nights. Growing up I had my faves. I would still eat them, but me and a lot of sugar in the morning is no bueno. As many of you can attest, it's not like I need more sugar! So I also have favorites now.
