Soakin' Up Life . . . at a 100 MPH!

Today was one of those "Ooooo la la" days. Got up spent some time with the children (Lucy, Ranger, Mix, Dakota, and Sadie), some great time with God, then headed to lunch at a downtown cafe called A Spot of Tea with Tom, a fellow Harley rider. Yeah. . .two Harley dudes eating at a sidewalk cafe. So. . . After some more riding I decided to head to Dauphin Island . Dauphin Island is little community located off the coast of Alabama. There were lots of bikes out doing the same thing I was doing. It was a great ride! So. . .just in case you were wondering what I did today, now you know. What did you do? Mike

What's Dallas doing? The Mavs should have already closed out this series. Now. . .I want to say up front, the Spurs are the reigning champs and they are still a great team, so I give them their props. BUT COME ON!!!! In last night's game Dallas was in control. They were leading. They had the series wrapped up. What happened?! I went to bed during the third quarter thinking I'd get up and see the headlines, DALLAS MOVES ON TO WESTERN FINALS! BUT NOOOOOOO!!! They give it away in the second half. What's up with that? HEY DALLAS - get a killer instinct!! Now it goes to a game 7 and heads back to San Anonio. Not a place where you expect to win if your the Mavs. But as this series has shown, it's anybodies guess who will win. Whether it's the Mavs or the Spurs there WILL be a Texas team playing in the Western Division Finals. Come on Dallas, step it up!

Ever have one of those mornings where you feel like you're behind and trying to catch up all the time? I do and I am!! Got up late - a little more tired than I expected. Got to the office and jumped right in getting things done. A need here, a great interruption there, and voila - I'm behinder!! Well. . .it would probably help if I got off this thing and got back to work, eh? See ya! Mike

It's one of those days. It's been good, so far. Great weather - plenty of sunshine in LA (Lower Alabama), smooth breeze, house cleaned, yard done, in the living room blogging and listening to classic rock, and Harley waiting in the driveway. "What that?" Can you hold on a sec? I think I hear something calling my name. . . Ah, I'm back. It's the Harley. She's calling my name. Well. . .don't want to disappoint her. Better get up and get dressed so she can be taken on the road where she's a lot more comfortable. "Yes, honey? I'll be there shortly!" Hey, gotta go. Don't want to keep a lady waiting.
