I love the way they smell…at least until the poop gets some stink to it. I love how they are miniture versions of adults. They simply amaze me. But these words from the book of Isaiah are not meant to paint a sweet, gentle picture for us today. These words are words of power. This child wasn't just any ol' baby. He was to be the Son of God. He was to become our redeemer…the spotless lamb of God who was to take away the sins of the world. He would lay His life down and become sin so that we become the righteousness of God.
