FRUSTRATED!!! AAAHHHGGGGG!!!!!!

So I started putting up the bead board in the office. We have nice base board and there's already a chair railing up. No problem, just measure between the two cut the bead board and put it up. Right? WRONG!!!

It seems the previous home owners had great ideas but lousy execution. The said chair railing isn't even close to being straight. THEREFORE. . .every piece has be custom cut. And, just in case you already didn't know, I'M NOT A HANDYMAN! AND I'm gonna have to by some more trim to cover the gaps. Which means more $$$$!!!! And yes, I'm a perfectionist.

I don't have a clue about what I'm gonna do when I get to the window sill.

So I 'm quitting for the night. I still need to organize the office and move the furniture - that would definitely make things easier.

You guys pray for me and for Cindy. Ask God to give peace about this.

Now where's my hammer! I've got some holes to make!!!!!! :)

Camp is Good!

I'm home from a week at a student camp - Camp Chaparral . I was there teaching students how God created them for a place of ministry and encouraging them to involved - somehow. . .somewhere. I was also the guest of Pam & Steve Sparks. They are wonderful friends from my Lufkin days. Steve is the Assistant Director of the camp. Better give a shout out to the staff - Hey Mike, David, Heather, Doug, Tim, Nate, Govani (spelling?) - thanks for a great week. I was listening to one of the local radio stations - kwyq, The Way FM, this morning on the way to the office. Favorite Cereals

As I was scarfing down a bowl of Total I was thinking about my favorite cereals. Cereal has always been a part of our family - it didn't matter whether it was grabbing a bowl before school and sitting with my Grandpa as he at a bowl of Raisin Bran after church on Sunday nights. Growing up I had my faves. I would still eat them, but me and a lot of sugar in the morning is no bueno. As many of you can attest, it's not like I need more sugar! So I also have favorites now.
