Man Card Question

If you have a favorite pair of shorts - I have a pair of basketball shorts I wear around the house; love 'em, even hate to wash them because I will have to wear something else in the mean time - and you spill coffee on them, is it OK to just wipe the coffee off and keep going?

If you throw them in the washer do you risk losing your Man Card? Even if your washing them while you're doing yard work (man work)?

Just wondering.

That depends, are they pink shorts? May I remind you that Salmon still qualifies as stone cold pink!
If they are pink, then the man card is more than revoked, it was never issued to begin with!

And you're right - pink shorts causes for question of the issuance of a man card in the first place!

ok, Im participating in this, not from a man card perspective, a favorite article of clothing perspective. I have this Northface 3/4 length sleeve, snap button shirt that I wear for everything and goes with everything. Ask Mike, he asks me to wear something else for a change. Also, I absolutely love to wear my black Chaco sandals. I wear them everywhere and they go with everything too. Shorts, jeans, dresses. They are soooooooooo comfy! Mike warns me,
"Cindy, you cannot wear your Chaco's with everything." I know that was more details than a man would need but you get the picture. Those are mine.

I agree with Cindy about the Chacos. They are very comfortable.

She has a pair of the Z1's and I have a pair of the Z2's. I'm already wearing mine this year.

Camp is Good!

I'm home from a week at a student camp - Camp Chaparral . I was there teaching students how God created them for a place of ministry and encouraging them to involved - somehow. . .somewhere. I was listening to one of the local radio stations - kwyq, The Way FM, this morning on the way to the office. Yesterday was the Day

Yeah, ok, so it the title should read Today is the Day! But I was busy last night so I didn't get a chance to post. So. . .it's Yesterday was the Day . " The day for what? ", you may be asking yourself. Mmmmmmm. . . If you've been tracking things here at Soakin' Up Life you know that I haven't been soakin' up very much lately because I've been so worn out. Well. . .last week the guys I meet with each week for Bible study jumped my case about not working out, running, cycling, or SOMETHING! Then, when got home yesterday a friend of mine TOLD me to get on my bike and hit the road - not suggest, told me to head out the door! I took their advice. I hung up the phone, changed clothes, grabbed my bike and headed out the door for a 20-mile ride. What a difference 20 miles makes.
