Breaker. . .Breaker!

That's right folks, not only will you have to contend with me on the road, now you will have to do it while I'm pulling a trailer. This morning I officially received my Commercial Driver's License (CDL). I'm not certified to drive anything with air brakes (like the big rigs), so I load up a 40 ft goose neck trailer hooked up to a Dodge 3500 1-ton 4-door dually (has 4 wheels in the back instead of 2).

I'm driving to make some extra money between ManHeart gigs.

Made my first run today! The sittin' and waitin' to be unloaded drove me nuts, but other than that I had a blast.

So. . .if you see me coming down the road give me a honk or a wave or just buy me another cup o' joe!

Camp is Good!

I'm home from a week at a student camp - Camp Chaparral . I was there teaching students how God created them for a place of ministry and encouraging them to involved - somehow. . .somewhere. I was also the guest of Pam & Steve Sparks. They are wonderful friends from my Lufkin days. Steve is the Assistant Director of the camp. Better give a shout out to the staff - Hey Mike, David, Heather, Doug, Tim, Nate, Govani (spelling?) - thanks for a great week. I was listening to one of the local radio stations - kwyq, The Way FM, this morning on the way to the office. They were asking the question, "If you could live in a totally Christian community would you?" Responses varied. I would be interested in knowing what you think. Favorite Cereals

As I was scarfing down a bowl of Total I was thinking about my favorite cereals. Cereal has always been a part of our family - it didn't matter whether it was grabbing a bowl before school and sitting with my Grandpa as he at a bowl of Raisin Bran after church on Sunday nights. Growing up I had my faves. I would still eat them, but me and a lot of sugar in the morning is no bueno. As many of you can attest, it's not like I need more sugar! So I also have favorites now. Here's my list of favorite cereals: Then Cap'n Crunch - the original and all-time favorite, and breakfast with the Cap'n - how do you beat that? Frosted Flakes - don't get soggy in milk Peanut Butter Crunch - Cap'n Crunch and peanut butter, what's not to like? Wheat Chex - add a banana, mmmm. . .mmmmm. . .good!
