Wedding Eve

It's Friday, November 16th - or better yet, it's Wedding Eve!! MY Wedding Eve.

That's right. Tomorrow Cindy and I get married. We are soooooo ready - as in we're just ready to get this over with. We're exhausted. Stressed out, although Cindy got us a couple of massages today. And just ready to get on with it.

My brother, sister-in-law, and nephew are here. The rest of the family are on their way and should be here soon. I'm loving it.

Can't wait.

Congrats man! Cristy will be in sometime near 4 in the p.m. today. I really appreciate Cindy letting her and Kelly stay at her place! Wish I could be there. I didn't know if I could get the day off until a couple of weeks ago. By that time Cristy had made plans with Kelly. Kelly is really looking forward to the trip with Cristy (hard to bust in on that). Plus, it would be difficult for the kids if both Cristy and I were away for 3 days. I will be praying, begining at 1:45 tomorrow, God's future blessings over you guys! I really enjoyed hearing from you the other day. When did you say you guys are moving to Tennessee? (lol)

Camp is Good!

I'm home from a week at a student camp - Camp Chaparral . I was there teaching students how God created them for a place of ministry and encouraging them to involved - somehow. . .somewhere. I was also the guest of Pam & Steve Sparks. They are wonderful friends from my Lufkin days. Steve is the Assistant Director of the camp. Better give a shout out to the staff - Hey Mike, David, Heather, Doug, Tim, Nate, Govani (spelling?) - thanks for a great week. These guys work really, really hard to make your camp stay the greatest. And it was. But I'm exhausted! I'm beginning to wonder if I'm getting too old for this kind of thing? I was listening to one of the local radio stations - kwyq, The Way FM, this morning on the way to the office. Favorite Cereals

As I was scarfing down a bowl of Total I was thinking about my favorite cereals. Cereal has always been a part of our family - it didn't matter whether it was grabbing a bowl before school and sitting with my Grandpa as he at a bowl of Raisin Bran after church on Sunday nights. Growing up I had my faves. I would still eat them, but me and a lot of sugar in the morning is no bueno. As many of you can attest, it's not like I need more sugar! So I also have favorites now. Here's my list of favorite cereals: Then Cap'n Crunch - the original and all-time favorite, and breakfast with the Cap'n - how do you beat that?
