Is that an ark I see?

Rain - that's what it has done every day for the last two weeks. I'm ready for some sun, BABY! Sometimes when I come home at night I see what I used to call fog, now I call it steam. Not only has it been raining a lot lately, BUT it's hot to boot.

How hot? Last Saturday I was putting some boxes out in the driveway when it began to rain. It had been so hot that the rain coming off of the roof was HOT! It wasn't lukewarm or near cool. It has hot. Hot rain - who in the world came up with this idea?

Well, I've got to go run some errands. Hold on a sec . . . Yeah those are my waders, Pastor's are in his office. OK, I'm back. Someone tried to steal my waders.

By the way, does anyone besides God and Noah know how to build an ark? I wonder if there are plans on the internet.

Camp is Good!

I'm home from a week at a student camp - Camp Chaparral . I was there teaching students how God created them for a place of ministry and encouraging them to involved - somehow. . .somewhere. I was also the guest of Pam & Steve Sparks. They are wonderful friends from my Lufkin days. Steve is the Assistant Director of the camp. I was listening to one of the local radio stations - kwyq, The Way FM, this morning on the way to the office. They were asking the question, "If you could live in a totally Christian community would you?" Responses varied. I would be interested in knowing what you think. Favorite Cereals

As I was scarfing down a bowl of Total I was thinking about my favorite cereals. Cereal has always been a part of our family - it didn't matter whether it was grabbing a bowl before school and sitting with my Grandpa as he at a bowl of Raisin Bran after church on Sunday nights. Growing up I had my faves. I would still eat them, but me and a lot of sugar in the morning is no bueno. As many of you can attest, it's not like I need more sugar! So I also have favorites now.
